Effective 1 September 2026
Consensis (consensis.app) turns catalogue PDFs into structured data. This policy describes what we actually do with your data — it is written to match the system's behaviour, not the other way round.
We do not keep your documents. Files uploaded through the website are deleted when you leave (heartbeat-based, with a 12-hour hard cap). Files sent through the API are deleted 24 hours after the extraction finishes — the window exists only so you can download the result. Deletion covers everything: the original file, extracted data, cropped images and OCR caches. You can delete earlier at any time (DELETE /v1/parse/{id}).
To read your document we send page images and text to OCR and language-model providers (currently Mistral, Google, and Z.ai). They receive document content only for the duration of processing, under their respective API terms. We choose API endpoints that do not use customer data for model training.
If you create an account we store your e-mail address, hashed API keys, and a usage ledger (page counts and charges — needed for billing). We never store your documents alongside this. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy; we do not see or store card numbers.
A session cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising or third-party analytics cookies. We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and records no personal identifiers — only page views, referrers and country.
Free trial without an account is rate-limited per IP address; the IP is kept in a daily counter and expires with it.
